Common questions
How do I add the Coffee Clock widget?
Long-press your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, search for Cnap and pick the small or medium Coffee Clock. Lock Screen widgets are in the Lock Screen's Customize menu.
Why is the weather or café missing on a cup?
Cnap needs location access and an internet connection to look up the café, city and weather. Check that Location is set to While Using the App for Cnap in the iOS Settings app. Old library photos without a location can't be tagged.
How do I edit or delete a cup?
Open the cup from Today or the Time Machine, tap ⋯ and choose Edit details to change the drink, rating, café name or note. To remove it, tap ⋯ → Delete, then Delete forever.
Can I change the date or time of a cup?
Yes, before you save: on the details step, tap the time row under Auto-tagged and pick a new date. Cnap fetches the weather for that moment again.
How do I add or remove a selfie?
After snapping your coffee, snap a selfie or tap Skip. On the details step, tap the round selfie bubble on the polaroid to take one, choose one from your library, or remove it.
How do I change my daily goal or switch to °F?
On the Today screen, tap the gear button to open Settings. Daily ritual sets your daily cups goal, and Units switches between °C and °F.
How does the café wishlist work?
On the Passport tab, tap the wand button to open your Café Wishlist and tap Add. When you cnap a coffee at a wishlist café, Cnap ticks it off and gives you bonus XP.
How does iCloud sync work?
If your iPhone is signed in to iCloud, Cnap syncs your cups automatically through your private iCloud. Check the status in Settings → Sync. Nothing needs to be set up and there's no account.
How do I delete all my data?
Open Settings from the Today screen and tap Data → Delete all my data. This removes every cup, photo, selfie and wishlist café from your iPhone and your private iCloud.
